It is worth knowing that...

... our guesthouse is located right in the heart of Fertőrákos, next to the Bishop's Palace.

The history of this building can be traced back to the 17th and 18th centuries, as evidenced by the statue of St. John of Nepomuk in the wall of the annex, which was built in 1731 on the orders of the Bishop. For a long time it was used as a granary and storehouse for crops.

A dream come true...

... when we restored this imposing stone building as a guesthouse in the summer of 2019.

During the renovation, we preserved the characteristics of the building's former function, in certain areas even original elements and materials have been used, preserving the ambience of the old building.

Our guest house welcomes its guests with 11 stylishly furnished rooms, equipped with TV, minibar, hairdryer, towels and Wi-Fi internet access. One of the rooms is fully wheelchair accessible.

For families with children we provide free of charge a separate baby cot, baby bath tub, small toilet seat attachment, step stool, and facilities for heating baby food.

Four-legged family members are also warmly welcome. For a small extra charge we provide blankets, feeding and watering bowls, toys and even tick tweezers.

Number of guests: 2 guests per room

Beds: 2 single beds (90×200 cm)

On the ground floor there are 5 rooms, including 4 double rooms of 16 m2 and 1 wheelchair accessible room of 19 m2.

Equipped with: Air conditioning, in room safe, minibar, TV, Wi-Fi internet access, coffee machine, writing utensils, hairdryer, towels, and toiletries.

No extra beds are available in our ground-floor rooms.

Number of guests: 2 guests per room

Beds: 2 single beds (90×200 cm)

Upstairs there are three rooms of 16 m2 and three rooms of 20 m2.

Equipped with: Air conditioning, in room safe, minibar, TV, Wi-Fi internet access, coffee machine, writing utensils, hairdryer, towels, and toiletries.

The upstairs rooms are available with extra beds.

We stayed for one night and everything was great, there was everything we needed and more than we expected. Very nice, clean, new rooms with AC, minibar filled with great local wine and other drinks at affordable prices, a la carte breakfast (choice out of ~6 options) was very tasty. Parking for cars and bikes as well. The owner was very helpful and attentive and had thought of every detail. Highly recommended.
